Key Cutting and Duplication

Bring your working key and we'll copy it while you wait. We cut house keys and the odd, older, and special keys that grocery kiosks and big-box self-serve machines get wrong. Cut in-shop and checked by hand before you leave.

  • House, padlock, mailbox, file, and furniture keys
  • Odd, older, and special keys kiosks and big-box machines often miss
  • Cut in-shop and checked by hand
  • Car keys cut from a working original
  • Walk in, no appointment

The keys other places can't do

Self-serve kiosks and big-box counters are built for speed, not precision. When they hand you a copy that won't turn, bring it here. We cut house, padlock, mailbox, file, and furniture keys, plus the older and special keyways those machines skip. We match the blank, cut it in-shop, and check the copy by hand before you leave.

What to bring

Bring the working key you want copied. For mailbox or restricted keys, bring proof you're allowed to copy them. Many keys stamped "Do Not Duplicate" are part of a registered system, so we'll tell you what's possible rather than copy one on the spot. A spare made now is cheaper than getting locked out later, so it's worth grabbing an extra while you're here.

Frequently asked questions

The grocery or big-box machine couldn't copy my key. Can you?
Often, yes. Odd and special keys are our everyday work. Bring the working key in and we'll match the blank, cut it, and check it before you go.
Do I need an appointment?
No. We're a walk-in shop. Simple copies are usually quick. Open Mon–Fri, 9–12 and 1–5:30, closed 12–1 for lunch and weekends.
Can you cut a car key?
Yes, from a working original. We can also rekey car door, trunk, and ignition cylinders to your key. For a car with no working key, see our automotive page.
