Pacific Lock & Key

Commercial Locksmith

Lock and key work for small Seattle businesses: rekeying after staff turnover, hardware repair and install, and keys cut for your team. We can rekey compatible locks so one key works multiple doors, or set up a master key.

  • Commercial rekeying after staff turnover or a lost key
  • Hardware repair, upgrades, and replacement
  • Keys cut for your team
  • One key for multiple doors, or a master-key setup, on compatible locks
  • Bring a cylinder or call to talk it through

Rekeying and keys

When staff turn over, a key goes missing, or you take over a space, rekeying is faster and usually cheaper than replacing hardware. We change the pins so old keys stop working and you keep your existing locks. We also cut extra keys for your team.

One key, or a master setup

If your locks share a compatible keyway, we can rekey them so one key works several doors, or set up a master so each holder keeps their own key while a master opens the lot. Bring a cylinder in or call to talk through your doors. For larger access-control systems, ask us first and we'll tell you straight whether it's a fit.

Hardware

We repair sticking deadbolts and worn cylinders and replace storefront, office, and back-door hardware. Bring the cylinder, hardware, or door measurements for a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Can you set our doors to one key?
Yes, if the locks share a compatible brand and keyway. We can also set up a master key. Bring a cylinder in or call to go over your doors.
Should we rekey or replace?
Rekey when the hardware's in good shape and you just need to control who has a working key, which is most cases. Replace when locks are worn, damaged, or you're upgrading.
Do you do large access-control systems?
Ask us first. We'll be straight about whether your job fits our shop or whether a specialist is the better call.
